 ical\, and social resilience with experienced\, hand-selected speakers\, t
 he Ranchers Stewardship Alliance “Rural Resilience” webinar series is 
 back for a fourth year!\n\nIn this third session\, we'll be joined by crow
 d favorite Dr. Julia Haggerty. Haggerty is Associate Professor of Geograp
 hy in the Department of Earth Sciences at Montana State University\, where
  she holds a joint appointment in the Montana Institute on Ecosystems. She
  received her BA from Colorado College in Liberal Arts and her PhD from th
 e University of Colorado in History. Haggerty teaches courses in human\, 
 economic and energy resource geography at MSU. She also leads the Resource
 s &amp\; Communities Research Group in studying the ways rural communities
  respond to shifting economic and policy trajectories\, especially as they
  involve natural resources. Partnerships and collaboration with diverse st
 akeholders are central to her approach Haggerty has expertise in diverse
  rural geographies including those shaped by energy development\, extracti
 ve industries\, ranching and agriculture\, and amenity development and con
 servation. This expertise has informed (and benefitted from) active partic
 ipation in local\, state\, regional and national policy dialogues. In 2023
 \, Haggerty completed to the training to become a Certified Ambassador o
 f Applied Compassion through the Center for Compassion and Altruism Resear
 ch at the Stanford University School of Medicine. \n\nThis FREE  webinar
  will last 90 minutes with plenty of time for interaction.\n\nPlease note
