SUMMARY:Rural Resilience- Ranch Tech: GPS Tags & Drone Seeding
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the sixth year of the Rural Resilience Webinar Seri
es\, where we’re growing our ranching and rural community’s financial\
, ecological\, and social resilience with experienced speakers and actiona
ble insights.\n\nThis free\, four-part series will tackle key topics desig
ned to support ranchers and rural residents:\nJanuary 22 - Ranch Tech: GPS
Tags &amp\; Drone Seeding\nTechnology is changing the way ranchers manage
land and livestock. Join rancher Ryan Lankford as he shares how 701x GPS
ear tags help him monitor cattle from anywhere\, giving new meaning to “
keeping an eye on the herd.” Then\, rancher Steve Kenyon will demonstrat
e how fall frost seeding with drones can make forage establishment easier\
, faster\, and more efficient. Discover how innovation can simplify operat
ions without sacrificing stewardship.\n\nMeet the Speakers:\n\nRyan Lankfo
rd-He is a producer representative to the board\, grew up in a farm famil
y on the Fort Belknap Indian Reservation. After serving in the U.S. Army a
nd earning a bachelor's degree in civil engineering\, he returned home to
continue his family’s agricultural legacy. Lankford has helped expand th
e family’s operation to include Red Angus livestock and Organic Certifie
 d crops. Today\, he produces winter wheat\, spring wheat\, canola\, peas\,
lentils\, chickpeas\, flax\, and barley on more than 10\,000 acres of lea
sed Tribal land.\nHe serves as a member of the Tribal Agriculture Expert C
ommittee and has also represented producers for more than seven years on b
oth county and state Farm Service Agency (FSA) committees.\nSteve Kenyon-
He owns a custom grazing business in Alberta\, Canada under the name of Gr
eener Pastures Ranching Ltd.  By using extended grazing techniques he is
able to pasture cattle year round. This is done by using a combination of
intensive cell grazing\, dormant season grazing\, swath grazing\, crop res
idue grazing and bale grazing.  Steve has been teaching sustainable grazi
ng management for more than 20 years and has been a keynote speaker at man
y conferences and seminars throughout Canada and the U.S. and even into Eu
rope.  Steve has a very energetic personality\, which compliments a very
down to earth common-sense approach to farm business management.  Yet he
is still just a producer and presents in a very honest and straightforward
style.\n\nThe Mission statement of Greener Pastures is “Economic and En
vironmental Sustainability for Generations” It is important to provide a
n enjoyable\, profitable and sustainable business for future generations.\
 n\nEach session includes a 60-minute presentation followed by a 30-minute
Q&amp\;A\, allowing you to engage directly with our expert speakers.\n\nCo
st: FREE!\n\nDon’t miss this opportunity to gain practical knowledge and
connect with others dedicated to building resilient ranching and rural co
mmunities. Pre-registration is required—Zoom link will be emailed upon r
egistration.\n\nThe Zoom link is the same for all four webinars.\n\n(PLEAS
E NOTE: You will be registering for the entire series.  It is not necessa
