This tour will highlight the legacy of the ranch while exp loring historical management practices.\n\nParticipants will learn about f uture grassbank opportunities\, the role of prairie potholes in the landsc ape\, and reseeding efforts that support long-term rangeland health. Along the way\, you’ll have the chance to meet and hear from local conservati on partners and their program opportunities for producers.\n\nAfterward\, we will tour the Webb Waterfowl Production Area. Webb Waterfowl Production Area was acquired in 1978. The 476-acre area contains wetlands\, dense ne sting cover for wildlife\, and native prairie. Aaron Griffith\, Bowdoin Re fuge Manager\, will join us to discuss grazing relationships with grazing cooperators\, how livestock and wildlife can coexist on working lands\, an d grazing management strategies.\n\nThis event is free of charge\, though if you feel inspired to contribute\, a suggested donation of $30 is apprec iated to help cover expenses. Pre-registration is not required but strongl y encouraged so we can make sure to have enough lunch.
