DESCRIPTION:Low-Tech Process Based Restoration (LTPBR) Educational Workshop
  \nJoin the Montana Grassland Partnership’s Mesic Team for a workshop o
 n August 18th (Landowners/Producers) or 19th (Agency/ NGO Partners) to lea
 rn more about Low Tech Process Based Restoration. \n\nLTPBR restores the 
 function of healthy streams with hand-built\, low-cost structures made of 
 natural materials (conifer branches\, willows\, rocks\, and untreated wood
  posts). These structures can help keep water on the landscape longer\, bo
 ost forage production near streams and flood plains\, improve drought resi
 lience\, reduce erosion and more. \n\nThis workshop will be split into tw
 o sessions\, one for landowners and one for agency/NGO partners: \nMonday
  August 18th \,12- 5PM: Landowner and Producer Day \nThis day is geared t
 owards landowners and producers who are interested in learning more about 
 how LTPBR may benefit the landscape and their operation.  \n\nTopics inc
 lude:  \n\n 	Why LTPBR is important and the benefits to the landscape \
 n\n\n 	Resources available if you are interested in doing LTPBR work \n\n
 \n 	A landowner panel to hear from peers that have done LTPBR on their ran
 ches \n\n\n 	A field visit to look at LTPBR structures in action! \n\nTe
